Phillips, Thomas Allan "Tom" - at the Henderson General
Hospital on Sunday, July 18, 2010, age 68 years. Beloved husband of
Patricia "Pat" (nee Vollick), loving father to Lori-Ann and loving
grandfather to Lily. Sadly missed by his brothers; the late James
(Carol), Ed (Dorothy), Jerry (Linda), the late George (Florence),
Charlie (Lynn),
the late William, the late Johnny, Patsy, Phil and Kenny. Also sadly missed by his godchildren Joyce and
Jamie, as well as many family and friends. Friends will be received
by the family on Monday evening from 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton &
Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Service for
Tom will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment Grove
Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy to the Cancer Assistance Program
(CAP) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the
family.
God saw

Mallory, Barbara Patricia (nee Smith) - October 31, 1930 - July
13, 2010 - Pat died peacefully at Macassa Lodge in Hamilton.
Predeceased by parents, sister Maureen, and son Thomas Christopher.
Wife for almost fifty-five years of Glenn, mother of Jane and
Martha, proud grandmother of Emma and Samuel Thomson, Patrick Boot
and Nigel Barnim. Also left to mourn are her brother-in-law William
Johnston and cousins and nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may
be made to Knox Presbyterian Church, Dundas, of which she was a
fourth generation member. The family are deeply grateful for the
kindness shown by so many people. Visitation at Cattel, Eaton &
Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, Thursday 2:00 - 4:00
p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at
KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 23 Melville Street, Dundas. Cremation has
taken place.
Goldrick, Robert Marrl Evan - with deep sadness at the Henderson
Hospital on Friday July 9, 2010. Loving husband of Margaret.
Survived by sisters Jean Alterio (Massachusetts) and Patricia (Alan)
Emmons, Strathroy, brothers Gerry (the late Patricia) Strathroy and
John (Jeananne), London. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bob loved his work as a chef and retired after many years from The
Faculty Club, McMaster University. His other passion was the cottage
at Lake Nipissing where he loved entertaining friends and tending
his gardens. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends
for a Service of Remembrance at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral
Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas on Tuesday, July 13th at 2pm. In lieu
of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Juravinski Cancer Centre,
the SPCA or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Tupper, Lois Althea, B.Ed, M.A., D.D. - Peacefully at Shalom
Village on Monday July 5, 2010, in her 100th year. Beloved aunt of
Robert and Judy Wall
(Seale) and Richard Wall, Randy and Gail Tupper, Sandy and Phillip
Hesp, and many nieces and nephews. Great aunt of Taylar Wall and
Julie Wall. Predeceased by her loving friend Pearle Lillian Burns.
Lois was the eldest of 6 children, Ben, Marg Wall, Bruce, Maynard
and Alice Dougherty, now all deceased. Lois was a long-time member
of MacNeill Baptist Church, and a Professor at McMaster Divinity
College from 1948-1971, during which time she was also principal of
the Women's Leadership Training Institute. Lois was awarded her
Doctor of Divinity degree in recognition of her many
accomplishments within the field of Christian Education. She was
the first woman to assume a tenured faculty position with a
seminary in Canada. Lois will also be remembered for the fine work
that she did with C.G.I.T., the Canadian Council of Churches, the
Baptist Federation of Canada and the Baptist Convention of Ontario
and Quebec. She will be fondly missed by the many people whose
lives she has touched profoundly as a Bible Study Leader, a teacher
at the Hamilton Lay School of Theology and a sought-after guest
speaker. Lois' area of service was not only Canada-wide but
world-wide. In the 60's she took a group of young people to the
Baptist Youth Congress in Beirut and then on a world mission tour of
several Middle East and Asian countries where Canadian Baptist
missionaries were at work. She led Bible Study at the Baptist World
Alliance in Stockholm, taught in a pioneer Christian Venture in
Nigeria sponsored by the World Council of Christian Education and
travelled to India as part of a church renewal program. A Service
of Remembrance for Lois will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July
10, 2010 at MacNeill Baptist Church, Westdale. Donations in Lois'
memory to MacNeill Baptist Church would be appreciated.

Ferretti, Anthony - peacefully after a long illness at
Alexander Place on July 5th, 2010 in his 88th year. Dear husband of
Teresa (Corsini), loving father of Denise (Ron) Massey, Nadine
(Paul) Thomason and Pamela (Doug) McKillop. Cherished Papa of
Steven (Rhiannon) Thomason, Erin (Bryan) Smith, Robyn (Darren)
Hyland, Andrew (Amanda) Massey, Lauren Massey, Ashleigh McKillop and
Mallory McKillop. Great Papa of Owen, Evan, Shopie, Haydn, Mason,
Ava and Amelie. Son of the late Ettorina (Paolini) Ferretti and
Guiseppe Ferretti. Brother of the late Phil (late Josie)Ferretti,
Reno (late Eleanor)
Ferretti, Lena (Ted) Anderson, Maria Perrins, Joe (Karen) Ferretti
and the late infant Louisa. Uncle Tony to many nieces and nephews,
WWII veteran. Tony's greatest joy was his family and he took great
pleasure in supporting and helping them in any way he could. Always
a gentleman he leaves a legacy of love to his family. A special
thank you to all of the staff at Alexander Place for their
outstanding loving care of our father, always mindful of his
dignity. Visitation Wednesday evening from 5 -9 at the Cattel, Eaton
and Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Dundas. Funeral Mass
Thursday, July 8th 11 am at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 58
Sydenham Rd.,
Dundas. Interment St. Augustine's Cemetery. Donations can be made to
