George Charles Glover
January 1, 1914 - February 13, 2012
We are one of the new families on Settler's Way (199) having only known George for 14 years. We will miss his inspirational ways the most: Golfing until last year, kayaking until last year, driving until recently and living and loving life to its fullest. May your memories sustain you---Suzanne
As a means of introduction; My name is Richard Buelow and I am the President of the Merganser Way Road Association Inc., responsible for the maintenance of the road ways along Lake Clear were George was a summer residence and a member of our association. Please accept our heart felt condolences for your loss! George was a good friend and neighbour here at the lake. He attended our Church, St. John’s Anglican of Eganville when he was in town, and he will be surely missed by the members of our congregation. George was a great Ambassador of the lake....seeing him paddle by in his kayak was always uplifting and inspiring. May our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ find a special place for him and Eva in Heaven together.
Sincerely,
All your Friends at Lake Clear
P.S. Missing you
We admired Uncle George for his strength of character, humour and faith.
We will continue to be inspired by the actions he took and the things he said while he was alive.
Uncle George will live in our memories forever.
Heartfelt sympathy,
Helenor Glover and family
George will be greatly missed. I enjoyed talking to him when I visited Valley Lodge as I now live in Brantford. He was my Cubmaster at St. James' so I have known George for many years.
My condolences to his family.

We first met George golfing with the Eganville seniors and continued to golf with him in Florda. He would call and ask "what time are we golfing today" and I always replied "I didn't know I was golfing today" and he would reply Oh yes You are just the time to be determined. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly greeting for everyone. It was an honor to know him and being one of his friends. We tried to call him on his birthday but never got an answer I guess as son George said he doesnt stay sitting for very long. We will miss him as all of his friends at Eganville seniors golf will. So happy he was able to join us at our golfing BBQ in August where we took a group picture with him our oldest golfer and had it published in the Eganville Leader.
