November 6, 1915 - January 19, 2012
An inspiration to all Dundas business woman - she will be missed by all. My heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.

The Weegar Family
Vicki, my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear Mother. I regret that I did not have the pleasure of knowing this wonderful woman, but thankfully Vicki, you are carrying on your mother's tradition with "Lillian's Style Shoppe". I was new to Dundas and it was wonderful to 'discover' "Lillian's". It is always a pleasure to shop and share with you.
Special thoughts are with you and your family.
The thing that impressed me most about my sister-in-law, aside from her remarkable class and dress style, was her honesty. If you were trying on a piece of clothing in her store and it didn’t look right on you, she would tell you so in a way that was not offensive.
Some often referred to her as “party Lil.” She had incredible energy and spirit. Like my niece, Dianne, I remember the day of my sister’s memorial service not that many years ago. Lillian had been up most of the night in the hospital with my brother who had suffered another heart attack, but she was dressed and ready to leave early in the morning for the trip to London. It was a long day, but Lillian was her effervescent self with everyone and it wasn’t until the trip home that she allowed herself to doze off in the car. It was a true gift to my family that day.
Lillian was an icon in the heart of Dundas. She was born and raised in Dundas and her father was a mayor of the town for many years. A little part of Dundas left this life on January 19, 2012. She will be missed, but her spirit will remain with all of us.
With love and best wishes to my nieces and nephew, <Gayle and Willard
Fun loving is how I describe Aunt Lillian. We shared many fond memories. I loved to hear her stories about my grandma, her sister, Isobel. She always made time for all of us, here in California. I'm so glad I had the chance to bring my family to visit her, in Dundas, a couple years ago. We will all miss her love and candor.
Jon, Timothy, Veronica & I are sending much love, hugs & kisses to our Canadian cousins.
Hello all;
Unfortunately, my good friend Vicki Harrison`s mom has passed away, yesterday, at 5pm. Lillian Harrison celebrated her 96th birthday in November, and was in really good health. On Sunday, she had slipped on a towel, while in the `Loo`and had broken her femur. She was in Hospital, and seemed to be pain free and in good spirits, and mid week they did surgery. I understand that she was ok after the operation, however, her breathing was not as good as anyone had hoped. I believe she passed peacefully.
Lillian Harrison, was quite simply one of the last few "Grand Dames" of our time. She enjoyed life, enjoyed her family, enjoyed going to many different places, and was known to say no to desert, in exchange for a schnapps.....
Lillia n was proprietress of Lillian's Style Shoppe for more than 40 years, and now, her daughter, and best friend, Vicki, continues the tradition. I have had the pleasure and honour to know her family, Rick, Barb and Peter, Shena and Steve, Georgina, Les, Rick, Diane, and have been welcomed into their hearts.
I shall miss her soul.

Stopping in at the shoppe was a very special occasion for many of us because of Lillian. Her graciousness, her impeccable sense of style and her obvious pleasure in greeting each one of us like the friends we had become made will be remembered and honoured in memory. My condolences to her family and especially to Vicki.

I wish peace for Grandma Lillian. Thank you for sharing your store as my playground when I was a little girl, for the laughter, for the acceptance as your step grandchild, your strength and for treating me so well and never forgetting to include my kids and family in your thoughts. You are loved and will be missed.
Barbara. My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. All the best to you, Peter and your family.
Aunt Lil, You were a truly amazing person. When my mother (your sister-in-law Elma) needed support, you and Uncle Bert were always there for her. You even made it to her memorial service after spending the night in the hospital with Uncle Bert. I will fondly remember all of our family get-togethers. It was an honour to have you for an aunt.
I couldn't have asked for a better grandma. You were always so fun to be around and always stirring the pot at every opportunity you saw! My favourite memory was when you were teaching me 'the proper way to knit' because I was doing it 'backwards.' I know you're having a great old time up there and drinking your beer (in the infamous mug with a handle) watching us with grandpa. Thank you for being the best!
We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I will always remember the first time I walked into her shoppe - she greated me as if I was an old friend and then was so helpful and kind. She made my move to Dundas even more special and welcoming. I am sure that her friendly smile will be truly missed by all.

Aunt Lil, you were such an amazing and classy woman! Always had a blast with you! I too, will always remember your requests for hot dogs and beer (in a mug with a handle) every time you visit! You will be considerably missed, but always in our hearts.
I was sorry to read in The Spec of your mom's passing. I spent quite alot of time at your home in the early 1960s with Kerry, always a fun place. I recently was remembering your whole family fondly as I came across a booklet in my late mom's papers about the contribution of Mayor Don to Dundas. My condolences to your family.
lillian would always lend an ear if you just needed to talk to a friend
Aunt Lillian, I will always remember you as our fun Aunt Lil from Canada that we had to make sure we had hot dogs and beer in the fridge when you came to visit us in California. I wish I had gotten to visit with you more, but I will definitely remember the fun times we had. My condolences to all the family. I'll miss you Aunt Lillian!
I will truly miss my Aunt Lillian. She had many gifts she gave us all and was there for me after my mom, her sister Isobel, passed away. Many memories will always be with me. My condolences to my cousins and their families at this time.
Classy lady, my aunt Lillian. Her California family will miss her but think of her often.
I will miss Aunt Lillian. We always had fun on our trips in California. I will never forget the outing to San Louis Obispo and of course, Bass Lake and Yosmite.
We truly enjoyed Lillian. My families thought are with you all.
to the Harrison family
So sorry to hear of you Moms passing Lil was a Dundas mainstay so full of life and loved a good laugh she was a great lady and will be missed My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
Michele Penner (nee Fleming )
One of the great pleasures of being married to Lillian's sister, Isobel (for 54 years) was the may visits that Lil made to us in California. Lil was always the stable and calming one. I recall her many times starting with,"now Isobel" or "now les". to get things on track again. Her trips with us to Hawaii and Mexico made them a much greater pleasure. She will be sorely missed by me and my family. Lil and I are the last ones of our era !
